Dr. Scarabelli
Dr. Scarabelli obtained his PhD in 2016 from CIC biomaGUNE (Advisor: Prof. Luis Liz-Marzán). He then went on to pursue postdoctoral studies, first at the University of California Los Angeles (Advisor: Prof. Paul S. Weiss), then as a “La Caixa” Junior Leader at the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona. He has contributed more than 45 peer-reviewed publications with over 3700 total citations. Dr. Scarabelli's scientific contributions have been recognized several fellowships and grants: Fundación BBVA “Leonardo,” American-Italian Foundation Fellowship, Juan de la Cierva Incorporación, Curie Individual Fellowship, I-LINK 2020 and Interdisciplinary Projects 2022 grants. In his free he is an avid climber and enjoys hiking.
